Main Business Contents
The certified broadcasting holding company Fuji Media Holdings consists of 24 core subsidiaries organized into seven business groups. Fuji Media Holdings is also further enhancing coordination of its business and cultural activities with the Fujisankei Communications Group, and other affiliated companies with which it has close business partnerships.
Note: The Fujisankei Communications Group consists of 89 companies, four corporations and three art museums.
Broadcasting Group
The Broadcasting Group transmits terrestrial and satellite television, and radio broadcasts. It is also involved in the movie, live event, and content licensing businesses. The Broadcasting Group produces a wide range of original content, serving as the driver for the Fuji Media Group’s content business.
Production Group
The Production Group plans, produces and sells television programs, movies and other video content, as well as live events. It also provides technological, artistic and other services related to content production.
Video and Music Group
The Video and Music Group packages and sells DVDs of movies and television programs, as well as music CDs, both in Japan and overseas. It also produces video and music software content, and operates a music copyright business.
Life Information Group
The Life Information Group operates direct marketing business through catalogues, television programs and the Internet. It also provides lifestyle-related information for local community newspapers.
Advertising Group
The Advertising Group operates advertising agencies, plans and produces advertisements, produces various live events, and provides other services in the media communication business.
Urban Development Group
The Urban Development Group creates and furnishes urban living spaces, including building leasing and management, housing and other real estate developments, and operation of commercial facilities and restaurants.
Others Group
The Others Group includes a wide range of businesses, including publishing, building of various IT systems, and research related to media and lifestyles, as well as temporary staffing and overseas businesses.
